The sale 22 of the Coonoor Tea Trade Association (CTTA) auctions scheduled for May 28 and 29 was completed only on June 1 because of the technical snag within the e-platform operated by NSEIT.

“This balance of the teas was auctioned on June 1 and so, Sale No: 20 was completed only on Monday,” he famous.

“We have represented to the Tea Board to make certain that NSEIT should ensure that any new version be first subject to error-free testing and then only implemented since this week’s disruption happened because of it pressing into operation a new programme without adequately testing its effective functioning,” Vairavan averred.

He mentioned that sale 23 might be performed as per schedule on June four and 5.
