In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper Sunday morning, Trump marketing campaign senior advisor Lara Trump touted the marketing campaign’s strong marketing campaign operation.
Asked if she and others are carrying masks, she informed Tapper, “We are wearing masks when it’s required indoors. Absolutely. And you’ll note that at our rallies we hand out masks to people, we ask them to wear them, there are signs up that say please wear your mask. We provide hand sanitizer.”
Remember: While the marketing campaign does present masks and hand sanitizer at rallies, there’s no enforcement of those insurance policies, and it’s uncommon for surrogates to be seen carrying masks on the bottom.
In a heated alternate, Lara Trump was unable to substantiate that the President had examined unfavourable inside the mandated 72 hour window earlier than the Cleveland debate, telling Tapper, “I assume the answer is yes. I was not physically there with him. And I work for the campaign and not in the White House.”
Asked if she would put on masks, in accordance with debate fee guidelines, and which she and different members of the Trump household violated in Cleveland, Lara informed Tapper, “If we are asked to wear masks, we will do so.”
